Crater de Chicxulub: el crater de la muerte

El Carter de Chixculub, también llamado el crater de la muerte, es un lugar ubicado al noreste de la península de Yucatán, en México. Este crater es conocido por ser el aparente resultado del impacto del meteorito que causó la extinción de los dinosaurios en la tierra.

Es así que este lugar emblemático me inspiró para crear una imagen que mostrara el momento de su impacto en la tierra, creando una ilustración donde este suceso sea el foco de atención.

Proceso:

La imagen fue hecha con IA, utilizando un prompt en inglés con descripciones detalladas de la posición de cada elemento presente.

Así mismo, de las opciones generadas a partir del prompt, fue elegida la que mejor representaba el momento buscado, la página que se utilizó para este trabajo fue deep dream generator. 

La IA y como herramienta:

La IA es una herramienta muy útil al momento de querer generar, en este caso, alguna imagen de manera rápida y eficiente, sin embargo debe haber un buen manejo de ella para obtener los resultados deseados, lo cual puede ser un poco difícil si no tienes experiencia o se te complica escribir tus ideas y detallarlas. Al ser una herramienta que aún está en proceso de desarrollo, puede ser complicado obtener un trabajo tal cual tú lo imaginaste, pero ayuda mucho a tener algo acercado y esto también podría ayudar como inspiración o base para desarrollar por tu cuenta tus ideas.

El arte y las matemáticas:

La composición de Phi y la regla de tercios son herramientas que guían el equilibrio visual de una obra, pero su verdadera fuerza está en cómo los artistas las utilizan para crear armonía sin ser obvios, por un lado Phi ofrece una proporción casi perfecta, por el otro la regla de tercios da flexibilidad y dinamismo. Al final lo interesante es cómo romper estas reglas puede llevar a resultados más inesperados y personales.

Conclusión:

Esta actividad es un gran proyecto que muestra el resultado de la combinación de distintas disciplinas como el arte y las matemáticas haciendo uso de herramientas como la IA. En mi opinión me gustó trabajar de esta manera pues exploré más posibilidades que por mi propia cuenta haría y te invita a pensar de manera creativa pero a la vez hábil para un resultado armonioso.
